Fees and charges.
The following are the only fees and charges associated with Virgin Credit Cards. There are no hidden surprises. What you see here is all there is to see.
Missed payment
$25
A $25.00 fee may be charged each month that an entire amount due is not paid by its due date.
The fee shall become payable on the date the fee is debited to your account.
Tip: To avoid this charge, try to always make payments by the due date.
Over your limit
$30
If you exceed your credit limit, the Overlimit Fee is debited from your credit card account
on or after the day the limit is exceeded. This fee is charged every time you go over your limit
and will be charged again if your account remains overlimit at the start of a statement cycle.
Please remember that credit limits are in place to help you manage your budget. And it's up to you to keep your balance below its limit. To check your current balance, you can call us anytime on 1800 080 000 or log in to your account online.
Cash advance
2%
(minimum $2.50 - maximum $50)
If you do a cash advance when your account has a negative (debit) balance
after the transaction hits your account, you pay a 2% administrative charge.
$2.50
…applies if you do a cash advance when your account has a positive (credit) balance after the
transaction hits your account.
Currency conversion
You pay a Foreign Currency Transaction Fee that's 2% of the total value of all foreign currency transactions.
Mastercard International also charges an Issuer Cross Border Assessment of 0.8% and a Currency Conversion Assessment fee of 0.2%, totalling 1% of the foreign transaction amount, which we pass on to you. This fee is shown separately on your statement.
Duplicate print statement
$5
Primary and additional cardholders can have a combined total of two free duplicate print
statements each year. Subsequently, a fee is charged and debited from your account on the day your
next statement issues (after the duplicate statement is provided).
PS - you can always access your statements online for free.
