Making repayments.

Every month we send out a statement telling you what you've spent on your Virgin credit Card and the minimum amount you need to pay off.  We don't have branches like banks (it keeps costs down), instead you've got the handy choices of Autopay (a.k.a direct debit), BPAY and the good ol' fashioned cheque or money order to make repayments.

Autopay.

You've got three options:

• pay the full amount off your closing balance every month
• pay a set percentage of your closing balance every month - either the minimum or whatever you choose
• pay a set amount every month - e.g. $100.

To set this up, we need you to download and sign the Autopay form (PDF 102Kb). Please make sure though that you continue to make regular repayments until you receive a letter from us confirming that it's been organised (we don't want you getting into hot water unnecessarily).

Making changes or cancelling Autopay

Please note that only primary cardholders can make the following changes to Autopay:

• stop payments - call 1800 080 000 at least three days before the payment is due
• change Autopay account - call 1800 080 000 at least seven days before the payment is due
• change the payment option (eg from full amount to set amount) - call 1800 080 000 at least seven days before your statement is due to be sent
• change the payment date - call 1800 080 000 at least seven days before your statement is due to be sent.

If you want to cancel, we need you to put it in writing at least seven days before your payment is due.

BPAY.

 

You can make a payment to your Virgin Credit Card using the internet or telephone from almost all savings and cheque accounts.

The Virgin Credit Card biller code is 172015 and the reference number is your Virgin Credit Card number.

Cheque or money order.

When you receive your statement, tear off the perforated section and send it in to us along with a cheque or money order.

A few important things to do:

• make the cheque out to yourself
• put your card number on the back of the cheque
• please put in the cents (i.e $200.00 not $200)
• make sure you post it in time to reach your account before the due date!
