Our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted by the catastrophic bushfires and the volunteers and firefighters who are doing everything they can to protect our local communities across Australia.

It has been inspiring to see the Australian and international community unite behind our brave emergency services personnel, volunteers, and those who have been impacted.

Virgin Money has announced a range of initiatives for both customers and employees during this bushfire emergency.

  • $150,000 donation to Orange Sky Australia: As part of the BOQ Group, we will donate $150,000 to help fund Orange Sky Australia’s mobilisation of laundry and shower vans to support people affected by bushfires across New South Wales and Victoria.
  • Dollar for dollar donations: We’re dollar matching donations by our employees to either the Australian Red Cross or Foodbank organisations.
  • Relief for impacted customers: We’re offering a range of relief and assistance options for our customers who have been directly impacted by the fires. Please visit virginmoney.com.au/assistance for information on how we can support you.
  • Community service leave for employees: Virgin Money has increased its paid Community Service Leave for employees who are members of a volunteer emergency services organisation involved in managing the fires to be unlimited.
