How do I apply for a credit card?

The first step is to compare our credit cards. Decide which product suits your needs, then once you have decided which card you would like to apply for, click ‘Apply now’. It will take at least 20 minutes to complete if you have all your information available. Once you are approved you will be able to access your Card within the Virgin Money app and can download to digital wallet. We will send you a physical card within 10 working days of approval. We need to know your age, Australian residency status, full Australian Driver Licence card details or a current Passport, and your current financial details including employment and your monthly income and expenses.

Is Velocity Frequent Flyer membership required?

Yep, you’ll need to be a Velocity Frequent Flyer Member so that we can send you the Velocity Points that you earn with your credit card.You’ll need to give us your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number either on your application form when applying for your Virgin Money credit card, or by calling us on 13 37 39 available 24/7.If you're not currently a Velocity Member you can arrange this when you apply for your card, or head to velocityfrequentflyer.com where you can join for free online. If you choose not to join Velocity Frequent Flyer, you’ll be ineligible for any offers or benefits relating to Virgin Australia or the Velocity Frequent Flyer Program.

How are my Velocity Points earned and transferred into my Velocity Frequent Flyer Account?

For the Velocity High Flyer Credit Card, Velocity Points can be earned on Eligible Transactions10 and Virgin Australia spend41 . At the end of your statement period, the Velocity Points earned for that period will be automatically transferred to your Velocity Frequent Flyer Account.
